I was shocked to learn that EDiets.com has over 860,000 members in their network right now, yet I had never checked it out. Clearly with a group of customers that large they must be doing something right and the more I looked in to their program I can definitely see why so many people are having success with their program.

They give you a range of calories that you need to stay within if you want to lose weight. The way Medifast works is you order pre-packaged food that is specifically designed to help you lose weight. You can choose from a variety of food options including shakes, snack bars, brownies, pudding, oatmeal, soups, scrambled eggs, and even snack foods like pretzels and cheese puffs. Nobody is going to argue that pre-packaged food is the most delicious thing in the world but there is a good variety to choose from, so there should be something you find that satisfies your tastes.

If price is a concern then a less expensive option like Weight Watchers for Men is probably a better fit.
Overall Medifast is one of the better diets for men who have struggled in the past to lose weight. The pros are that it is much easier to follow than a high intensity diet like P90X, the food is right there for you, and it is pre-packaged so you know exactly what you can have and how much of it to have. It may not be the most tasty thing you ever ate but let’s be honest, either are vegetables and Medifast will help you lose weight a lot faster.

It’s more intense than other diets for men but well worth it if you’re tough enough for it.
